Often times during the winter season basic needs are overlooked in rural communities. There are limited resources available to elderly and the children in those communities. Many people go without proper winter gear due to lack of finances. The pandemic has placed a strain even more on finances which causes families to not be able to afford coats, proper bedding, and heat for their homes. Project LUX will be hosting its FIRST ANNUAL OPERATION KEEP WARM, to provide the basic necessities needed during the winter season to families in the rural communities located outside of the peninsula region of Charleston. This event will take place on December 13, 2020 in Hollywood, South Carolina.
